The City of Newark is thrilled to announce the “Summer Fun in Newark” 2024 program, marking its tenth year of providing free, enjoyable activities for all ages. This summer, residents can look forward to pop-up play streets, movie nights, boxing events, summer camps, and various family fun activities and programs.
Dear Newark Residents,
On behalf of the City of Newark, we are pleased to offer our “Summer Fun in the City” 2024 program for our residents for the tenth consecutive year. From pop-up play streets, movie nights, boxing events, summer camps, to family fun activities – there is enjoyment for everyone from kids to adults & seniors.
The Department of Recreation, Cultural Affairs & Senior Services along with The Downtown Arts & Parks District & the Centers of Hope will provided residents with a historic number of public events for all ages. This year, we will provide even more programming, special events and excursions for residents to learn new skills and create memories, with enjoyable, safe, and educational family and age-appropriate activities.
